The mission of the Englewood Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to Englewood Schools to enrich, maintain, and expand programs needed to meet the District’s stated mission of excellence in education.

 

The Englewood Education Foundation was created in May 1990 to assist students in advancing their learning opportunities after graduating from Englewood Public Schools. In addition to scholarships, one of the Foundation’s goals is to ensure teachers in our community are able to foster creative approaches to education by providing private support for educational activities in Englewood Public Schools.

Board of Directors

The Foundation has been run by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of business, community, and educational leaders in our community who share a vision of enhancing education in Englewood schools. There have been numerous board members since the inception of the foundation in 1990, with 9 Board members currently operating the foundation to assist in raising and distributing funds to students and teachers in Englewood.
